Guided Trips
Sun Valley fly fishing day trips originate from either our home base near Silver Creek or your choice of accommodations in Sun Valley, Ketchum, or Hailey. I will talk with you the evening or two before your scheduled trip to discuss the many fishing options and make all the necessary arrangements. Depending on fishing conditions and your preferences, you will fish Silver Creek, the Big or Little Wood Rivers, Lost River, or Mackay Reservoir; it’s all part of the Sun Valley fly fishing variety.
For anglers who want to spend more than one day fishing the Lost River drainage, there’s always the option to stay in the town of Mackay.
Full day trips include a streamside picnic lunch with drinks. Half day trips are also available and do not include lunches unless requested. Lost River trips are full day only, unless you are fishing more than one day and have accommodations near Mackay. Half day trips are available on Silver Creek or the Wood River. We can supply all rental equipment such as waders and boots, rods and reels, and float tubes if needed. We are well stocked with all the standard and specialty fly patterns that ensure your angling success. With so many nearby fishing options, many clients fish with us for two or three days.
Full Day: $625 Full Day with Jet Boat: $725
Half Day: $450

Rates are based on 1 or 2 anglers per guide. A third angler can be added to guided wade trips at an additional cost of $125.00. Summer 1/2 day trips are available on the Big Wood River or Silver Creek.
Rental equipment is available: Rod & Reel $20 per day. Waders & Boots $20 per day.
Lunch is provided on all Full-Day Trips. Lunch can be added to Half Day Trips for an additional charge of $15 per person.

We can make preliminary arrangements via email or phone. Final verification of dates will require a $200 deposit by credit card or check. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
NOTE: Purchase your fishing license in advance from State of Idaho Fish and Game.
Cancellations: As long as we receive a cancellation notice 2 weeks prior to the reserved dates, we refund your deposit minus a $25.00 processing fee. If the cancellation is within the 2 week period, we will refund your deposit if we can refill your reserved dates, minus $25.00. If we cannot refill your reserved dates, no refund will be made. We strive to move and reschedule your reserved dates without any penalty for available dates on our calendar within the same seaso.
