Sun Valley fly fishing Day Trips originate from either our home base in Picabo or your
choice of accommodations in Sun Valley or Ketchum. Your guide will talk
with you the evening before your scheduled guided trip and discuss the
many different fishing options and make all the necessary arrangements
as to where to fish, and when and where to meet. Depending on fishing conditions
and your preferences, you and your guide will fish Silver Creek, the Big
or Little Wood Rivers or the Lost River; it's all part of the Sun Valley fly fishing variety.
Full day trips (8 - 10 hrs.) include a stream side picnic lunch with drinks. Three quarter day (5 to 6 hrs.)
and half day (4 hrs.) trips are available and do not include lunches unless requested.
Lost River trips are available on a full day bases only, due to driving distance. Three quarter days or half days trips are available on Silver Creek or the Wood River. Half day evening trips are popular for anglers wanting to fish the evening rise at dusk, or for anglers wanting to fish the early morning spinner falls.
We can
supply all rental equipment such as waders/boots, rods & reels and
float tubes if needed. Our guides are well stocked with all the standard
and specialty fly patterns that insure your angling success. With so many
nearby fishing options, many clients fish with us for three or four days. For full
